Ultra Marathon to be held on National Unity Day

Damauli (Tanahun), Dec 27 : The Fourth Rishing Ultra Marathon is to be held on the occasion of the National Unity Day, Paush 27.    

The Rising Rural Municipality in Tanahun district is going to organize this event to promote tourism through sports. Preparations for the marathon is initiated, it is said.    
Spokesperson of Rishing Rural Municipality Bijay Darai said the Ultra Marathon will cover 43 kilometres of distance.    

Starting from Dharung Bhanjyang, the marathon will complete by reaching at Dubungkot along Ranipokhari-Arkhalachhap-Kaphaldanda-Purano Rishing-Gothadi, Chalise-Bhirkot and Dangsiri.  

  
The winner will get Rs 65,000 in prize and the first runner up will get Rs 40,000. Likewise, the third prize is Rs 25,000 and Rs 10,000 as the consolation prize. (RSS)
