Damauli (Tanahun), Dec 24: President of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) Chandra Prasad Dhakal has said that local products should be given priority in the local fairs.
Inaugurating the First Bhanu Municipal Festival on Tuesday, Dhakal said such fairs should be supportive for promoting the sales and marketing of the local products.
He was of the idea that such events would be crucial to make local economy vibrant as the economic prosperity was the key target of the present time.
The festival will take last for 10 days.
Coordinator of the festival, Krishna Kumar Shrestha, said that much priority has been given for local products adding that the festival is also aimed at promoting social, economic, cultural and tourism business of the city.
Almost 120 business stalls have been kept in the show and some 100,000 visitors are expected to visit the stalls there.(RSS)
