International Conference of Asian Political Parties begins in Cambodia

By Narad Gautam, Cambodia, Nov 21: The 12th International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) began in the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh.  

In the conference, representatives of political parties from Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and European countries are participating.

From Nepal former member of parliament of Congress, Divyamani Rajbhandari, Vice-Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)Uddhav Paudel and general secretary of RPP Kedar Bahadur Adhikari, Chief Secretary for foreign affairs of Nepal Samajbadi Party Bharat Gurung, Secretary for foreign affairs department of Nepal Communist Party (Unified Socialist) Shankar Prasad Khatiwada, central committee member of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities Bir Bahadur Tamang.

The Chairperson of the Janata Party Dr Chandra Kant Raut and Chairperson of Nepal Pariwar Dal Eknath Dakal are also participants in the conference.

The program is organized by the Cambodian People's Party where representatives of 49 political parties from 28 countries of Asia looking for participation.
