Partly cloudy in hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces today

Kathmandu, Nov 17: The westerly wind has its influence while the local winds have general impact in the western and hilly areas across the country at present, said the Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.    

Currently, the weather is partly cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces while dense fog in some places of Tarai region.  

 
The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and mainly fair in the rest of the areas in the afternoon today.  

  
There is the possibility of light rain at one or two places of the hilly region in Koshi and Gandaki provinces, the Department said.    

It will be partly cloudy with chances of light rain in the hilly region of Koshi and Gandaki provinces and mainly fair in the rest of the regions tonight.    

The Department has stated that there is a likelihood of occurrence of dense fog during morning and night in the Tarai region in the next 24 hours with partial impact on agriculture health, tourism, mountaineering and road and air travel, and hence requested for taking precautions. (RSS)
