307 farmers provided wheat seeds
Rampur (Palpa), Nov 12: Rampur municipality of Palpa district has distributed wheat seeds to the farmers in grant.
The wheat seeds of 'gautam' species weighing 1,628 kg and of 'bijaya-7' species weighing 5,832 kg was distributed to 307 farmers, according to agriculture section chief at municipality, Narayan Prasad Gaire.
The municipality provided the seeds to the farmers at 50 percent grant.
The agriculture section of the municipality had issued a notice seeking farmer's interest.
The local level has been distributing rice, maize and wheat seeds to the farmers based on their demand. (RSS)
