AI to be applied to ease life

BY A STAFF REPORTER,Kathmandu, Oct. 28: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government is committed to using science and technology to make life easier and simpler. 

Speaking at an international conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) organised by the Youth Association Nepal in Kathmandu on Sunday, Prime Minister Oli emphasised the importance of utilising AI for development, positivity and an improved quality of life.

"We are driven by a thirst for development. To address this, let us embrace the concept of Digital Nepal. We must use AI positively and also implement awareness and legal measures to prevent the potential negative impacts of its misuse," said Prime Minister Oli. 

"We need to improve the high failure rate of students in the SEE exams. Our focus is on how AI can be used in such areas and on transforming Nepal into a hub for AI education." He also shared that policies and plans regarding AI would be introduced.
