People involved in corruption will not be spared: PM Oli

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that action will be taken on people involved in corruption no matter when they committed the crime.

Making public the government achievements in the first hundred days from Singha Durbar, PM Oli said that initiative has been taken to take action against those misappropriating the deposits of the common people in the Cooperatives.

"So far, over 600 have been punished while 575 are serving their prison terms," said the PM.

He said that formulation of laws necessary and formation of mechanisms to refund the deposits of the common people in the Cooperatives which are found to be ruined have also been started.
