Three injured in Sattale van accident

By Ram Mani Dahal, Hetauda, Oct. 5 Three people including the driver sustained an injury when an electric vehicle met with an accident at Sattale, Bagmati Rural Municipality-8 located in Makwanpur.

According to the District Police Office, Makwanpur, the electric van with the registration number (01-020-001 Ja 4328) that was heading towards Dharan from Kathmandu went out of control causing an accident at Sattale, Bagmati Rural Municipality-8 along the Hetauda-Sindhuli-Chatara-Dharan road section on Saturday.

The injured have been identified as 52-year-old van driver Devi Thapa of Hile, Dhankuta, Buddha Municpality-1, 30-year-old Pramila Tamang from the same place, and 48-year-old Bina Tamang from Chabahil, Kathmandu.

There were 12 people onboard in a van including the driver. The injured are receiving treatment at Chhurehill Hospital of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City.
