Shoppers swell in New Road area as Dashain nears (photo feature)

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 4: Shoppers mobility has increased to form a crowd with the onset of Dashain, a great festival of Hindus in Nepal, in main market areas of the Kathmandu Valley.

Number of the Dashain shoppers has swelled in New Road, the oldest of markets in the valley. Traffic pressure has also increased here as consumers to buy garments, utensils, gold, electronics and others have favoured this market area.
