PM briefs UML parliamentary party about his participation in 79th UNGA

Kathmandu, Oct 1: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has apprised the CPN (UML) parliamentary party meeting about his address to the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly and about the bilateral meetings and his participation in other sideline events. 

On the occasion, Prime Minister Oli said that Nepal's participation and presentation in the UNFA has been more effective this time compared to the past. He asserted that he held meetings with the heads of state and government of various countries in course of attending the UNGA. 

Party Chair and Prime Minister Oli said his meetings with the US President, the heads of state and Prime Ministers of several countries and other distinguished persons, and the programmes at the Columbia University and Harvard University have been significant in terms of experience sharing.   

According to the Prime Minister, he returned home carrying out works as per the resolve he made in the parliament that he would lift high the country's prestige and nationality and make Nepal's presence in the international forum in a way that it can be 'seen and heard'. (RSS)
