12 injured in Nuwakot microbus accident

Kathmandu, Sept.30: 12 people received injuries when a microbus met with an accident at  Shivapuri Rural municipality-7 located, in Nuwakot District, under Tokha-Chhahare road on Monday. 

According to the Chief of the District Police Office Shanti Raj Koirala, two of the 12 injured are in serious condition.

He said that a microbus that was heading to Pokhara from Kathmandu through Nuwakot veered off around 50 meters down the road after being out of control at the Aaduwarimod at 1 PM as per the Deputy Superintendent of Police Tilak Bharati, who visited the incident site. 

There were 18 passengers onboard. 12 injured along with two seriously injured has been taken to Kathmandu for treatment. 

A microbus with a registration number (Ga 1 Kha 4535) that was going to Pokhara from Tokha, Kathmandu via Nuwakot by Galchhi, Dhading, owing to the landslide that occurred in different places met with an accident at Nuwakot. (Translated from RSS)
