Search operation underway of seven missing in Tega, Jugal landslide

Chautara(Sindhupalchok, Sept. 30: The seven people who were washed away in the landslide that occurred at Tegagaun, Jugal Rural Municipality, Sindhupalchok District, on Saturday are still missing.

Ward Cahir of the Jugal Rural Municipality Laxman Lama Dong said that all seven people who were heading towards the village from Tembathan on Friday have become contactless. 

According to him, the house of the locals Mingmar Rinjan, Lapka Sherpa, and Pemba Sherpa was destroyed by the landslide. Along with those whose houses were buried, other locals, Sangmo Sherpa, Dhendu Sherpa, Sadalo Sherpa, and Doma Sherpa are still missing. 

According to the ward chair, it is observed by the locals that the landslide occurred in front of Tembathan and near Tega.
