One dead, five missing after landslide washes away house in Panchthar

By Radha Luitel, Phidim, Spet.28: One died and five others have gone missing after a landslide washed away house at Phidim Municipality-1,Panchthar District.

According to the District Police Office, Panchthar, the deacesed have been indeintied as 50 year old Gopi Vishwakarma.With this, the number who have lsot lives in the landslide in Panchthar has reached three.

Hemanta Chhetri Bhandari, Krishna Das, his wife Kamala Das, Dhan Kumar Tumbapo, rajesh Tumbapo, his wife Saraswoti Tumbapo have gone missing in the landslide. 

The search operation of the missing is underway and more details of the incident is yet to be ascertained. 

According to the Panchthar police, the deceased was 50-year-old Gopi Vishwakarma. With this, the number of people who lost their lives in the landslide in Panchthar has reached three.

Similarly, police inspector Hemant Chhetri Bhandari informed that Krishna Das, his wife Kamala Das, Dhankumar Tumbapo, Rajesh Tumbapo and his wife Saraswati Tumbapo were missing in the landslide. 

The police said that the search for the missing persons is underway and more details are yet to be ascertained.
