PM Oli pays tributes to trade tower victims

New York (USA), Sept 25: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli visited the National September 11 Memorial and Museum in the World Trade Center complex, here today.     

The memorial has been set up in commemoration of the September 11, 2001, attacks on the Trade towers.     

Prime Minister Oli is in New York attending the 79th General Assembly of the United Nations. On the occasion, he was accompanied by First Lady Radhika Shakya, Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, Permanent Representative of Nepal to the United Nations Lok Bahadur Thapa and other members of the PM's official delegation.     

On the occasion, the officials of the museum informed Prime Minister Oli about the horrific incident that led to the death of 2977 people and the state-of-the-art museum built to commemorate them.(RSS)
