Schools in Mahottari closed due to searing heat

Mahottari, Sept 23: The schools in the district are closed following an unexpected excessive rise in temperature. Manrasishwa Municipality in the far south of the district has announced six days of school holidays from today due to excessive heat.     

The temperature in the district is 45 degrees Celsius since mid-September. The chief administrator at the Municipality Rajesh Kumar Sharma shared that the schools were closed following the scorching heat. He added they took the decision as school children could be adversely affected due to sudden rise in temperature.     

Due to high temperatures, service seekers are also decreasing at public offices. (RSS)
