Prachanda calls for strengthening and transformation of Maoist Centre

Kathmandu, Sept. 17: The Diaspora Province Committee meeting of the CPN (Maoist Centre) has started on Tuesday.     

The central committee members and province office-bearers from different countries joined the meeting virtually.     

Marking the beginning of the meeting, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' said there was no alternative to strengthening and uniting the party. He added that the transformation of the party was possible.     

"The agendas of the transformation will be subverted if the Maoist party is weak. The constitution will be attacked. There is no other option but to unite to safeguard the transformation," Prachanda added.     

He stated that the party will move ahead now with the programmes of party reorganization and mass mobilization.     

After the statements from the attendees, the central office-bearers of the CPN (Maoist Centre) are supposed to address the meeting.     

Currently, the Maoist Centre is organizing consultation meetings in different provinces as part of the preparation for the party's central committee meeting.(RSS)
