Parliamentary hearing of proposed ambassadors completes

Kathmandu, Sept. 12: The Parliamentary Hearing Committee has completed the hearing of Nepal's proposed ambassadors to the USA, the UK, Spain and Sri Lanka.     

Lok Darshan Regmi has been recommended for USA, Chandra Kumar Ghimire for the UK, Sanil Nepal for Spain and Ram Krishna Bhattarai for Sri Lanka.     

The government on July 29 had recommended 17 ambassadors and sent their names to the parliamentary hearing committee for endorsement.     

With the latest hearing, the parliamentary hearing of all 17 ambassadors has been completed.     

During the parliamentary hearing, the proposed ambassadors shared their plans on different issues including promoting Nepal's relations with the host countries. (RSS)
