Kathmandu, Sept 9: Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has honored Palesha Govardhan, who for the first time won a bronze medal for Nepal in the Paris Para Olympics 2024.
While honoring Govardhan at a special ceremony held today at the Vice President's Office in Lainchaur, Vice President Yadav said that all Nepalis are happy that Palesha has brightened the country's image in the international arena.
"Palesha has created a history for Nepal and provided a golden opportunity for Nepalis living in and abroad to be proud," he said, adding that her historic success was achieved through her tireless efforts, determination, excellent performance and dedication.
"Congratulations to Palesha for this and thanks to all the helping hands, ministries, coaches and officials who contributed significantly to this special achievement and success," Vice President Yadav said.(RSS)
