Heavy rainfall likely in five provinces

Kathmandu, Sept 7: Heavy rainfall is likely to take place in the hilly region of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces this afternoon.

This is due to the effect of monsoon, which is still active in the country, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.     

The weather at present is partial to generally cloudy, with light rainfall taking place in few places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.     

Tonight, the weather will remain partial to generally cloudy across the country, with chances of rainfall in some parts of hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces. Light to medium rainfall is likely to take place in other parts of the country.     

In the next 24 hours, heavy rainfall is likely to take place in one or two palces of the hilly regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provices, according to weather bulletin released by the Division this morning.(RSS)
