Minister Gurung resigns

Gandaki, Sept 2: Minister for Forest and Environment of Gandaki Province government, Rajeev Gurung, has resigned from the post.     

The responsibility of Ministry of Forest and Environment was given to Gurung, who was Minister for Physical Infrastructures and Transport before the cabinet reshuffle.     

In a resignation letter, Gurung mentioned that he resigned from the post due to changed political scenario.     

Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey approved the resignation of Gurung, according to the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.     

Gurung was elected as Gandaki Province Assembly member as the independent candidate from Manang.     

Chief Minister Pandey had appointed four ministers of the CPN (UML) today itself.(RSS)
