Former PM Deuba unveils Upadhyay’s book on ‘Dwonda Patrakaritako Ek Dashak’

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Sept,1: A book named Dwonda Patrakaritako Ek Dashak (A decade of conflict journalism) written by journalist Dirgha Raj Upadhyay has been unveiled on Friday in Kathmandu. Former Prime Minister and President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba released the book amidst a function. 

Releasing the book, President Deuba said that the problems faced and events witnessed by the journalism sector during the conflict have been included in the book. In the programme, he further said the constitution can be amended if all parties deem it necessary. The author Upadhyay has covered the journalism of the Far Western region during a decade of conflict in the book. The book also included different incidents that occurred during the period of conflict. The participants in the programme said that the book would provide an opportunity to know what journalism was like during a decade of conflict.
