RSP expels suspended general secretary Dhakal

Kathmandu, Aug 27: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has expelled its former General Secretary Mukul Dhakal from general membership of the party.     

The Central Committee meeting held at the party's central office in Banasthali today decided to revoke the ordinary membership of Dhakal. Sharing about the decision of the Committee, Acting General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti said the meeting has decided to annul the ordinary membership of party member Mukul Dhakal according to Article 56 (3) of the party's statute.     

The previous meeting of the Central Committee had sought a clarification from Dhakal, based on the report of the Central Disciplinary Commission. Accordingly, Dhakal had submitted his clarification, which was deemed not satisfactory by the party.(RSS)
