Continue voluntary work for people's welfare: Prachanda tells party cadres

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug 25: Former Prime Minister and Chairperson of CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has expressed sorrow over the loss of life and property due to landslides in Ramechhap.

Stating in the social media Facebook that he was shocked to learn about death of six people, missing of four and injured one at Lekkharka of Tokarpur in Dorambha Shailung Rural Municipality-3 of Ramechhap district, he drew the attention of the government for effective relief distribution to the affected and rescue and treatment of the injured.

"I pay my tribute to those who lost lives due to natural disaster and wish for speedy recovery to the injured," he said, "I also thank our party leaders and cadres who have joined in the rescue for necessary support and cooperation and direct them to continue in people's services."
