Kathmandu, Aug 24: Chairperson of the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has expressed the belief that all the breakaway factions of the Maoist movement would come together.

In his address to a programme organized by the Nuwakot Kathmandu Liaison Coordination Committee here today, he said that all leftist and socialist as well as Maoist forces that were split in the past were continuously holding unity talks to come together. He also claimed that the results would come soon.

Chair Prachanda expressed the confidence that if all ranks and files of the party make meaningful efforts, the Maoists would get revitalized and receive robust voters' mandate again as in 2064 BS.

He directed the party leaders and cadres to prepare a list of those who voted for the Maoist party in 2064 and the details of their descendants.

"After the central committee meeting, the party will launch a nationwide campaign and build a strong party by uniting the people. There is no doubt that a remarkable result will be achieved by going to the people with confidence, so I also call for a campaign focusing on the party's side", Prachanda said.
