Fire breaks out at Readymade Shop

By Hari Prasad Koirala, Urlabari, Aug.24: A fire broke out in a cloth shop, located at Urlabari-6, Morang, connected to the East-West highway. 

According to the preliminary investigation of the police, it is estimated that the fire that broke out in the 'Kids and More' store in front of the local police gutted Rs 2.5 million. 

Police Inspector of Area Police Office, Urlabari, Devendra Das, said a blaze suddenly erupted in the shop at 1 AM on Saturday. 

He said that the fire was brought under control in 40 minutes with the efforts of the fire brigades of Urlabari, Pathari, and Kanepokharai along with the efforts of locals soon after getting information of the fire. 

The gutted cloth store was of Kul Bahadur Thapa, which he was renting in the Bhola Man Shrestha of Urlabari-7 house. 

The nest door fruit shop of Ful Maya Shrestha of Urlabari-6 was also damaged because of the fire breakout at the shutter.
