Tanahun Bus accident update: 14 dead, 16 injured

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug 23: Fourteen people have been killed and 16 others injured when a Kathmandu-bound Indian Bus plunged into Marsyangdi River on Friday Morning.

Joint spokesperson of APF DSP Shailendra Thapa informed that 14 dead bodies have been pulled out from the accident site and rescued of 16 injured. 

A bus with Indian number UP 53 FT 7623 fell some about 150 meters from the Prithvi Highway into the Marsyangdi River from Aanbookhaireni of Tanahun around 11:30 AM on Friday.
