By Our Correspondent,Nepalgunj, Aug. 22: On the occasion of its 36th anniversary, Bageshwori Cinema Hall, located in New Road, Nepalgunj, has installed additional state-of-the-art technology.
According to QFX Bageshwori Cinemas’ manager, Swikriti Tamang Shrestha, QFX Bageshwori Cinemas, which has been operational for 35 years and has completed eight years since its upgrade to QFX, has further enhanced the cinema hall on its 36th anniversary.
She added that to provide a more premium entertainment experience for the audience, the cinema hall has undergone beautification, and new laser light projectors, air conditioning, and sound systems have been installed.
She also said that recently, audiences have started returning to cinemas, and the role of modern, well-equipped cinema halls has been crucial.
On the occasion of Bageshwori Cinemas’ 36th anniversary, a cake-cutting ceremony and various other programmes were organised. QFX began its entertainment business in 2001 from the Jai Nepal Hall in Kathmandu. In August 2016, the former Bageshwori Cinema Hall was revamped under the expertise of Quest Entertainment and rebranded as QFX Bageshwori Cinemas.
When Bageshwori Cinema Hall first opened, the Nepali movie ‘Lahure’ was screened, and when QFX Bageshwori Cinemas started, the Nepali film ‘Jai Parshuram’ and the Hindi movie ‘Rustom’ were shown.
