Kathmandu, Aug 15: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed the ministers and secretaries to name developmental programmes after peoples’ name. Issuing directives to ministers and secretaries at his office in Singha Durbar on Thursday, he urged them not to develop any programmes in the name of Prime Minister and other personalities.

PM Oli argued that developing the programmes in the name of Prime Minister and other personalities has give way to wrong trends which is being copied in the provincial levels, where programmes are being set in the name of chief ministers. “Programmes should be designed in the name of people not of any high profile people,” PM Oli said.

Similarly, Prime Minister Oli urged the concerned authorities to work on upgrading the TU Cricket Stadium in Kirtipur in full swing.

He also directed the secretaries to work to ensure capital expenditure is 100 percent without any arrears. He also urged to table effective proposal to make 10th national sports a success.(RSS)
