61st report of the Auditor General tabled in NA

Kathmandu, Aug. 15: The 61st Report of the Auditor General was tabled in the National Assembly (NA) meeting on Thursday.     

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung tabled the 61st Report of the Auditor General-2081 in the NA meeting, on behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.     

Likewise, NA Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal informed the NA members on Thursday about the letter received from the Office of the President regarding the change in the hierarchy of the cabinet members.     

Furthermore, the Chairperson of the Public and Delegated Legislation Committee Maya Prasad Sharma tabled the 'Report about the Onsite Visit, Study, Inspection and Monitoring of the Quake-hit Districts-2081'.     

On the occasion, Chairperson Sharma said that the relief, reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts were not as effective as expected for the targeted communities.     

Similarly, NA Secretary Dr Surendra Aryal tabled and shared the message received from the House of the Representatives (HoR) about the passage of the Bill related to the Investigation of Enforced Disappeared Persons, Truth and Reconciliation Commission (Third Amendment), 2081’.     

The next meeting of the NA has been summoned for coming August 18.(RSS)
