Daughter dead, mother critical from snake bite

By Liladhar Oli, Ghorahi, Aug. 14: Daughter died and her mother has been seriously injured from a snake bite in Dang.

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the District Police Office, Dang, Ram Krishna Timalsina, a six-year-old girl Indu Chaudhary died after being bitten by a rattlesnake near 1 AM on Wednesday in Guruwagaun, Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-6. 

The seriously injured daughter Indu died in the course of treatment at the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences (RAHS) at 5 AM on Wednesday. Indu's treatment was firstly relied on the traditional healer but seeing no improvement in her treatment she was taken to RAHS.

The 25-year-old mother Ashma Chaudhary who is also critical is undergoing treatment at the same hospital. Her condition is critical. 

Indu was bit on the head and Ashma was bit on the left hand while they were asleep.
