Minister Chaurasiya requests for presenting three bills in this session

Kathmandu, Aug 6: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya urged the parliamentarians to take forward the preparation making sure that three bills would be presented in the ongoing session of the parliament.     

Minister Chaurasiya requested the parliamentarians for the same in a meeting that started deliberating on the bill relating to management of legislations in the parliamentary committee of law, justice and human rights today.     

The three bills referred by the Minister and seeking deliberations in the parliamentary committees are the one related to transitional justice, bill made to amend some Nepal Acts and bill made to manage legislations.     

Stating that the government introduced the bill to streamline the legislation making system, the Minister emphasized that the bills should be deliberated and finalized at the earliest.     

The bill on management of legislation came to the Committee for discussion from the National Assembly. The members of the Committee will dwell on the bill till August 13, it was said.     

The Committee's meeting will be held tomorrow at 11:00 am to continue the discussion.(RSS)
