Future generations should take inspiration from Tulsilal: Former President Bhandari

Kathmandu, Aug 1: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that the current and future generations should be inspired by the revolutionary morals and character of Tulsilal Amatya.     

At the 27th Memorial Day event of Tulsilal Amatya organized by Tulsilal Memorial Foundation at UML central office in Lalitpur, Chyasal today, she said that the ideological integrity, ideals and moral conduct were the assets of late leader Amatya.     

Former President Bhandari said that leader Amatya's class favoritism, harmony and dedication towards the farmers, workers and general working class of the village can be considered as indispensable qualities that a communist leader should have.     

She discussed the important contribution of Tulsilal in bringing the party to the revolutionary line. "Tulsilal Amatya was arrested several times in the course of participating in all the movements for the end of the Rana regime and the partyless Panchyat system and the establishment of democracy in the country.
