Existing alliance will continue till next election: Minister Gurung

Lamjung, July 27: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has said an alliance between the CPN (UML)) and Nepali Congress was formed for the development of the country.     

Inaugurating the first convention of the National Youth Association Gandaki Province on Saturday, he clarified that the two largest parties formed the alliance to speed up the development pace and the alliance would remain in place till next election.     

Minister Gurung stressed that the government would pay its attention in development of all sectors.     

The Prime Minister has instructed all ministries to carry out activities making the people feel it within a month and the ministers have been moving ahead as per the direction, he mentioned.     

The Communications Minister explained that the government has set a determination of raising hope among the people by accelerating development activities.     

Similarly, politburo member of the CPN (UML) and former Chairperson of the Association, Mahesh Basnet said the responsibility of making the country prosperous is upon the shoulder of youths and they should move ahead for the same.     

The youths made significant contribution in nation building and the state should provide opportunity to them, he added.     

Likewise, Association former Chairperson Rajeev Pahari, UML Central committee member Jamindra Man Ghale, among others pointed out the need of raising hope among the youths.(RSS)
