15-bed hospital facility built in Tanahun

Tanahun, April 23: A 15-bed Vyas Municipal Hospital building was constructed at Dumsibazaar in Vyas Municipality, Tanahun.

Mayor of Vyas Municipality Baikuntha Neupane inaugurated the hospital building on Wednesday and said that the municipality has given top priority for the development of the health care sector through the management of skilled human resources and equipment.

Chief of the planning section of the municipality Dr Raju Paudel said the hospital building was built with the investment of Rs 9.62 million and the total cost, including medical appliance reached Rs 26.6 million. 

The Chief Medical Officer of the hospital, Dr Nabina Neupane, hoped that service expansion in the health sector would benefit the local people.(RSS)
