By Ramesh Poudel/ Fadindra Adhikari, Lekhnath,  July 27: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that the necessary acts and regulations for the communication sector will be realized within the next year.

Addressing the press conference organized by the Nepal Journalist Federation on Kaski on Saturday in Pokhara, Minister Gurung said that new acts and regulations compatible with the current development of information and technology will be formulated.

Minister Gurung said, "The perversion in the name of online television and online media that is being observed will be addressed. The biggest issue is seen in online TV and other online media platforms. Strict regulation needs to be maintained to stop anarchy, chaos, and obscenity that is being observed. We respect the freedom of the press but not chaos and anarchy within it. "

He clarified that there will be changes in the way of working from the previous government although good governance development, methods, and processes are the same. The two parties have come together for stability and to generate hope for a better future among denizens.

"Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) have agreed to come together at different times on the point of radical change. Development and prosperity are the priority. The biggest thing is to break the despair of people. The current alliance has no room to fail. If this government also fails, public trust in the old mainstream political parties will be broken," said Minister Gurung.

Pointing out that digital Nepal is necessary for good governance, he said that the previous governments did not work according to the spirit of federalism.
