Kathmandu, July 26: Israel has agreed to recruit 2,000
Nepali workers as caregivers in long-term centers.
Earlier, in the second phase, 800 applicants were requested
including alternates, but a total of 1,000 main candidates and 1,000 candidates
on waiting lists will be recruited.
It is said that an agreement has been signed between Labour, Employment, and Social Security Sharat Singh Bhandari and Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Hanan Godder had signed the agreement in the mystery. Where Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Godder shared that the number of Nepali workers going to work as caregivers in Israel has increased.
Earlier, the Foreign Employment Department had requested for
500 main candidates and 300 candidates on the waiting list to be hired as a caregiver in Israel from
June 25 to July 26 and it was agreed on that.

Danduraj Ghimire said that the added number will be selected from the currently
requested applications. There is an application of 3,000 people for 800 seats
so far and 2,000 will be selected from that. The time to apply is until Friday,
July 26.
He claimed that there would be discrepancies in the selection
process since the language test was conducted in a transparent and fair manner
from the beginning of the application.
According to the department, most of the young people
selected in the first round will have the opportunity to go to Israel.
According to the department, the application for new ones
and the visa and contract agreement for old ones have started to be ramped up
with preparations to take Nepali caregivers to the area as there is a shortage
of foreign workers in Israel.
