Minister Paudel extends grief over plane crash

Kathmandu, July 24: Minister for Health and Population, Pradeep Paudel, has extended grief over the Saurya Airlines plane crash, killing 18 people on board.     


Reaching the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital today, Minister Paudel took stock about the postmortem situation, Minister Paudel paid heartfelt tribute to those killed in the plane crash.    


He urged the hospital administration to facilitate the activities of handing over the bodies of those killed in crash to their family members after postmortem.    


"The hospital has said that all the bodies whose identities have been established will be handed over to their families by tomorrow evening. So, ease the environment accordingly", mentioned Minister Paudel.    


He also extended condolences towards the bereaved family members.    


The incident took place when the plane with call sign 9N-AME skidded off the runway and fell into a ditch while taking off for Pokhara from Tribhuvan International Airport on Wednesday morning.  (RSS)
