PM Oli directs bodies concerned to work to prevent accidents

Kathmandu, July 24: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed the concerned bodies and sides to work to curb tragic incidents like plane crash in coming days.     

Acquiring the information at rescue coordination centre of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal after visiting the incident site in Tribhuvan International Airport today, Prime Minister Oli stressed that all should work to not allow recurrence of such types of incidents in future.     

He urged the bodies concerned to know how the incident happened, either human or technical error. He said the incident was very tragic and unimaginable.     

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba and acting Chief Secretary Leela Devi Gadtaula were present on the occasion.     

Eighteen people died when a Pokhara-bound Saurya Airlines aircraft from Kathmandu met with an accident at TIA on Wednesday morning. (RSS)
