Build habit of reading books: PM Oli

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 24: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has urged everyone to build a habit of reading books. 

Reacting to the list of five best books of 2024 nominated and made public by Madan Puraskar Guthi, the Prime Minister said that although many of his other habits have changed, his reading habits since his youth have not changed. 

He also congratulated the authors of all the five books selected for Madan Puraskar Guthi for this year.  

PM Oli said, "Many of my habits from my youth till now have changed, but my habit of reading remains the same. Even in a little leisure time, I sit with books. Recently, Madan Puraskar Guthi released the best list of 2024, among which I have read Mohan Mainali's Mukam Ranmaidan, and others are on the list to read. I congratulate all the authors who have made it to the list of five best books and urged everyone to build a habit of reading books." 

Those shortlisted for the award include 'Damphuko Atmalap' by Bhakta Syangtan, 'Mukam Ranamaidan' by Mohan Mainali, Jeevan Chhetri's 'Nun-Tel', Bhavesh Bhumari and Pranita Chamling's 'Bhavlipi' and 'Santras ka Sathi Din' by Roshan Thapa Nirav.
