Govt focused on strengthening economy: PM Oli

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 19: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the main focus of the government is on strengthening economy to rid people from despair.

PM Oli viewed so while in discussion with the office bearers of Confederation of Nepali Industries (CNI).

The PM made it clear that the government under his leadership was formed to solve the problems of the country and do some reformative works.

PM Oli, who is also the Chairperson of the CPN (UML), mentioned that he did not assume the office only for the sake of the post but for fulfilling some responsibilities.

"I have already been the Prime Minister in the past. I did not come just for the post, but to do some new works and contribute to solving the country's problems," said the PM.

"The main goal of the government at present is to strengthen economy and solve the related problem. I have assumed office with the resolve to do something for change. Therefore, I expect the CNI to cooperate with the government and address the problems jointly," PM Oli urged the CNI delegates.
