Heavy rainfall in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki regions

Kathmandu, July 14: Light to moderate rain is currently taking place in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. This is due to the influence of Monsoon winds that is present across the country, says the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.    

In the next 24 hours, the Department has forecasted heavy rain in some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.   

 
According to the weather bulletin published by the Department this morning, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy in the country this afternoon, with a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces as well as at some places of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi and Gandaki provinces.    

Tonight, the weather will be partly to mostly cloudy over the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces as well as in some places of Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki regions.    
    
In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and some parts of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, adds the Department. (RSS)
