By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 11: The Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) has decided not to give a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ during the floor test scheduled on July 12.
According to Chief Whip of JSP Dr Birendra Prasad Mahato, the meeting of the Parliamentary Party held on Thursday has decided to cast a vote of confidence against PM Prachanda on Friday.
The JSP has decided to support a new government formed in collaboration with the Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (UML). Ministers from JSP were resigned from the Prachanda-led government on July 5.
PM Prachanda is taking a vote of confidence for the fifth time in the last 18 months.
The PM Prachanda is going to take a vote of confidence as per Article 100(2) of the constitution of Nepal from the House of Representatives (HoR) on July 12.
