Nagarik Unmukti Party Chair Shrestha removed from Parliamentary Party leader

By Akindra Timilsina, Tikapur, July 1: The Nagarik Unmukti Party has removed its chair Ranjita Shrestha from the position of Parliamentary Party leader in the House of Representatives (HoR). 

The Parliamentary Party meeting that was held on Sunday made a decision to change its Parliamentary Party Leader and Chief Whip. The meeting elected Ganga Ram Chaudhary as the parliamentary party leader and Lal Bir Chaudhary as Chief Whip. 

There is friction regarding the party's operation between the party's chairperson Ranjeeta Shrestha and the founder of the party Resham Lal Chaudhary.
