Paddy plantation

Myagdi, June 15: Farmers planting paddy at Kumalni field of Beni municipality-5, Myagdi. The paddy cultivation has begun in the upper region of the hilly district of Myagdi which has irrigation facilities.  

According to the data of the Agriculture Knowledge Centre, 13,500 metric tonnes of rice is produced in the district, where paddy is cultivated on 3,885 hectares of land.
