Ranju Yadav teaches Mithila art to kids in Denmark

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, May 12: Mithila artist Ranju Yadav, who is currently on a European art tour, gave training on Mithila painting in Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen on Friday.

Famous artist Yadav gave training on the Mithila art to Nepali and Indian children living in Denmark.

Artist Yadav is currently in Denmark in the course of her 33-day Europe art tour. Stealing the opportunity of Yadav being in Denmark, Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Denmark organised a one-day Mithila Art Workshop in Copenhagen.

The parents who took their children to the workshop were attracted to Mithila art and learned the art from artist Yadav along with their children. 

On that occasion, more than 30 Mithila paintings of Yadav were exhibited at the workshop venue. Artist Yadav is touring Europe from April 18 to exhibit her solo Mithila art exhibitions in different European countries.

A solo painting exhibition of Yadav was convened on April 20 in Frankfurt, Germany. Similarly, her two-day solo art exhibition is being held in Copenhagen, Denmark on May 11 and 12. Likewise, another solo art exhibition is scheduled to take place in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, on May 5 and 6.
