By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 23: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ said that the message that the country is investment friendly needs to be imparted and stressed on taking the private sector into confidence.

Addressing the meeting organized by the Investment Board, located at New Baneshwor, on Tuesday, Prime Minister Prachanda said that rather than taking control of the private sector it should be eased for development and prosperity.

The PM said, “The new development model needs to be prepared by taking the confidence of the private sector. The development will see its boom only when the private sector is taken into confidence. Therefore, it should be eased rather than taken into control.”

Saying that in today’s world taking control of development is unacceptable and the aspirations of people are fulfilled only when the policies inspiring development is made, PM directed to work on building those policies.

Saying that all need to work with a positive attitude to make the investment summit a success, PM said that rather than presenting a ‘aspirations list’, a solid and practical project needs to be presented in the Investment Summit.

The PM said, “Rather than presenting wish lists, a solid and practical project needs to be presented in the Investment Summit. We have amended Acts before the Summit, this will help to secure investment. Therefore, a solid and practical project needs to be presented. Let’s organize the summit in a way of giving a new message.”

Saying that the development project needs to be simplified, PM said that many hurdles come in the way while trying new endeavours but the political leadership needs to move ahead by overcoming them.
