People not looked for alternative to republic system: Spokesperson Sapkota

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 25: Spokesperson of the Ruling coalition's CPN (Maoist Centre) Agni Prasad Sapkota has said that Nepali people have not looked for an alternative to the republic system.

Talking to the media persons after the Party Steering Committee meeting at the Party Office Perishdanda Sapkota made the remarks. 

Claiming Nepali people have not looked for an alternative to the world's model republic system having federal, republic and secularism, he indicated the need for strengthening the system. 

He mentioned that good governance and prosperity with social justice are the present expectations of the Nepali people.

He also said that the political forces in favour of change should come together. Spokesperson Sapkota also said that any attempt to made fail the federal democratic republic will not succeed.
