Gorkhapatra celebrates Digital Day

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 24: Gorkhapatra Digital Day has been celebrated by organising a special ceremony by Gorkhapatraonline.com and risingnepaldaily.com on Saturday.

Based on Gorkhapatra Corporation's content published digitally for the first time on Feb 24, 1997, the Corporation celebrated its Digital Day on Saturday.

On Feb 24, 1997, the corporation's English publication the Rising Nepal Daily's news was published on the web for the first time in the corporation's history.

Addressing the ceremony Executive Chairman of the Corporation Bishnu Prasad Subedi said that management is focusing on advancing the digital platforms.

Speaking at the ceremony the General Manager of the Corporation Lal Bahadur Airi said that the Digital Platform of the Gorkhapatra Corporation should use maximum tools to invite audiences.
