Ranfall in capital, snowfall in hills

By Bishnu Pandey, Kathmandu, Amrit Prasad Paudel, Mustang, Feb 1: A few places in Kathmandu Valley received light rainfall and hills witnessed snowfall on Thursday.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, light rainfall is witnessed in Lalitpur and Kathmandu. 

The Department's meteorologist, Sanjeev Adhikiri weather will start to get clear after night. 




The meteorologist of the Department, Gobinda Jha light rainfall witness in Valley. Jha informed that rainfall was witnessed in Dadeldhura, Kalikot, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashim. 

Jha said that snowfall was witnessed in hilly areas. He said snowfall witnessed in Humla, Mugu, East Rukum.



Correspondent of Mustang Amrit Paudel said that life affected due to snowfall in Mustang. Jomsom is expecting more snowfall. 

Chief District Officer of Mustang Janak Raj Panta high hills witnessed snowfall. He informed that all the security agencies have got alert for emergency situation and rescue operation.
