24 models selected for IEC Designers Runway

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Jan. 17: The 13th edition of ‘IEC Designers Runway’ has selected 24 models, with 18 women and six men chosen during auditions held in the capital recently. 

 The audition, attended by over 350 models, featured a panel of judges including actresses Priyanka Karki and Sabita Karki, Next Models Nepal CEO Ravi Dhamala, commercial photographer Rajbhai Suwal, Mr. Nepal Winner Samarpan Karki, IEC College Managing Director Shailaja Adhikari, and Rajshree Thapa.

The selected models will showcase their talents on the Fashion Ramp at 'IEC Designers Runway,' scheduled to take place on March 29 in Kathmandu.

 Additionally, 12 international models from various countries will participate in the show organised by Next Models Nepal.

 Ravi Dhamala, CEO of Next Models Nepal, expressed his commitment to making this season the best and most impressive installment of ‘IEC Designer Runway’ to date.

The renowned fashion show, 'IEC Designers Runway,' has been a consistent annual event, featuring 15 sequels of different dresses crafted by the 2021 badge student designers of IEC College. 

Shailaja Adhikari, the managing director of IEC College, highlighted that the primary objective of 'IEC Designers Runway' is to promote Nepali fashion designers and elevate their attractive designs to the international stage.
